Is your production line stopping because of broken cables?
You know the feeling. Everything is running smooth. Your CNC machine is cutting, your robotic arm is moving, or your conveyor belt is moving boxes. Then, suddenly, the machine stops. You check the computer. It says “Signal Error” or “Emergency Stop.” You look at the cables. You see a crack in the jacket. Or worse, the copper wire is snapped inside. This happens because standard wires are not made for movement. They are made to sit still in a wall. When you pull them, bend them, and twist them millions of times, they break. This costs you money. You lose production time. You pay for repairs. It is a headache you do not need.We have the solution. We make cables that love to move. Our UL2517 22 AWG 3-core shielded drag chain cable is built for the tough life inside a cable carrier. It does not crack. It does not break. It keeps your signal strong for years.
What makes this cable special?
This is not just a random wire. It is a precision tool for your machine. Let’s look at the build.
The Conductor: 22 AWG Tin-Plated Fine Wire
We use 22 AWG copper wire. This is about 0.3 square millimeters (sq mm) in size. It is the perfect size for control signals and low-power data. We do not use bare copper. We use tin-plated copper. Why? Because tin stops the copper from getting rusty or corroded. It also makes the wire softer. Soft wire bends better without snapping. We use Class 6 fine stranding. This means the copper is made of many tiny threads, not one thick stick. This gives the cable extreme flexibility.
The Insulation and Shield: Stop the Noise
You have 3 cores inside. This means you can send three different signals in one cable. Maybe one is power, one is ground, and one is data. Each core has a special PVC insulation. It is color-coded so you know which is which. But here is the best part: the shield. We wrap the cores in a braided copper mesh or foil. This is an EMI shield. It blocks electromagnetic interference. In a factory, there are big motors and welders everywhere. They create “noise” that can mess up your data signals. Our shield stops this noise. Your signals stay clean. Your machine does not make mistakes.
The Jacket: PVC for Toughness
The outside jacket is special PVC. It is not the hard plastic you see on cheap wires. It is a special mix that resists oil, coolant, and solvents. If your machine leaks a little oil, this cable will not melt or swell. It stays strong. The temperature rating is 105°C for moving use and up to 105°C for fixed use. It handles 300 Volts easily.

Where do you use this cable?
You can use this cable anywhere things move. It is perfect for the “Drag Chain” (also called Cable Carrier or Power Chain).
CNC Machines and Machine Tools
Imagine a CNC router. The cutting head moves back and forth fast. The cable inside the chain bends millions of times. If you use a normal wire, it fails in weeks. Our UL2517 cable lasts for years. It resists the cutting oil and the metal chips.
Industrial Robots and Automation
Robotic arms have joints that rotate and bend. The cables going into the arm need to twist. Our cable handles this torsion (twisting) very well. It is great for sensor connections on robotic grippers.
Stage Lighting and Theater
Did you know this cable is used in theaters? Stage lights move up and down on trusses. The cables need to be flexible and safe. Our PVC jacket is flame retardant (LSZH options available on request), making it safe for indoor public use.
Welding Equipment
Welding robots move a lot. They also have high electrical noise. The shielding on our 3-core cable stops the welding noise from messing up the control signals.
Medical Equipment
Some medical scanners (like CT or MRI parts) have moving gantries. They need quiet, reliable cables. Our low-noise design fits this need perfectly.
Why buy from us?
We are not just a trader. We are a factory. We control the quality from the copper wire to the final jacket.
We Test Everything
We do not guess. We have machines that bend the cable 30 million times to prove it works. We check the insulation resistance. It must be over 20 MOhm x km. We do spark tests at 2000V to find any tiny holes in the jacket. If it fails, we throw it away. You only get the good stuff.
We Customize
Need a different color? We can do black, orange, blue, or yellow. Need a different length? We cut it to size. Need a connector on the end? We can add M12 or M8 connectors and mold them on tight. We can even make the jacket out of PUR (Polyurethane) if you need it to resist heavy abrasion or extreme cold (down to -40°C).
We Ship Fast
We know you need this cable to fix your machine now. We keep stock of the common sizes. If we have stock, we ship in 3 days. If we need to make it, we are fast because we have our own machine.
How to order
Buying cable online can be scary. Will it fit? Is the quality good? We make it easy.First, check your machine manual. Do you need 22 AWG? Is 3 cores enough? Do you need shielding? If yes, this product is for you.Second, ask for a sample. We can send you a 1-meter cut so you can bend it and test it in your lab.Third, check the price. We give factory-direct prices. You cut out the middleman. We offer FOB, CIF, DDP shipping. We can ship to the USA, Europe, Australia, or anywhere else. We handle the customs paperwork.Do not let a bad cable stop your production line again. Use a cable that is made for the job. Use a cable that moves.Get a Quote TodaySend us your inquiry now.
