24AWG 8-Core Shielded Signal Cable | Manufacturer-Direct Supply, Tested EMI Protection
Signal loss doesn’t announce itself. A voltage spike goes undetected, a sensor reading drifts, and a whole line stops. When you track the cause back to a poorly shielded multicore cable, the replacement cost isn’t just for the cable. It’s the downtime, the scrapped batch, and the field team working overtime. This 24AWG 8-core shielded signal cable is built to eliminate that chain of failures. It gives you clean signal integrity in high-noise environments and comes on standard or custom spool lengths directly from our production floor — without distributor markups on volume orders.
Shielding That Blocks the Noise You Can’t See
Double-layer defense against EMI and RFI
An aluminum-mylar foil wrap paired with a tinned copper braid shield. Together they handle both high-frequency interference and low-impedance ground noise. This means your 4–20mA loops, encoder feedback, and Modbus RTU links stay stable. Fewer faults. Less time spent tracing phantom signals.
8 conductors in a compact form factor
24AWG stranded bare copper cores, color-coded with a ripcord for fast jacket removal. Eight signal paths in one cable mean you halve your trunk line count compared to using pairs of 4-core cables. Cable tray space, conduit fill, and termination time all shrink. Projects stay on schedule.
Factory-controlled insulation consistency
Semi-rigid PVC insulation on each core, extruded in-house. Dielectric strength is uniform reel-to-reel. Why this matters: capacitance imbalance between cores creates crosstalk. We keep variation under 3% across standard runs. For RS-485 networks, that’s the difference between data packets arriving intact or a CRC error flagging every few minutes.
Flex-life rated for cable chain and moving applications
Stranded conductors and a pressure-extruded jacket compound allow a bend radius down to 8x outer diameter. In pick-and-place robots or linear motion systems, this cable survives the continuous flex that snaps solid-core alternatives within months. Lower replacement frequency. Predictable maintenance budgets.
No minimum distance from power cables — but we’ll help you route anyway
Because the shield coverage reaches 90%, you can run this signal cable in the same tray as low-voltage power without induced voltage exceeding 0.5V under typical plant loads. Still, we provide installation guidelines with every shipment. It’s a simple PDF, not a sales brochure. Written for engineers who need to satisfy inspection requirements.

Sector-Specific Deployments
Factory Automation & Robotics
Feeds encoder signals and feedback loops into PLC and DCS architectures. Shield continuity through the drain wire prevents motor drive harmonics from overriding position data.Water / Wastewater Treatment
Connects level sensors, flow transmitters, and chemical analyzers across a site’s SCADA network. Moisture-resistant jacket and consistent capacitance values preserve 4-20mA accuracy under high humidity.Building Management & HVAC
Pulls easily through conduit for damper actuators, temperature sensors, and CO₂ monitors. The 8-core count lets one cable handle power, signal, and ground for individual VAV box controllers.Power Generation & Substation Control
Used inside switchgear and relay panels where high electromagnetic fields are the normal operating condition. Braid shield provides a low-impedance path to ground, preventing false trips on protection relays.Transport & Tunnel Infrastructure
Survives vibration and temperature swings in railway signal cabins and road tunnel monitoring. LSZH jacket variant meets smoke density and toxicity requirements for enclosed public spaces.

Common Technical Questions
Can I order this cable with 22AWG or 20AWG conductors for longer sensor cable distances?
Yes. We manufacture the same 8-core shielded construction with 22AWG (up to 0.34mm²) and 20AWG (0.5mm²) conductors. A larger cross-section reduces loop resistance. If your transmitter requires a minimum supply voltage at a known distance, our engineers can calculate the acceptable voltage drop before you commit to a gauge change. Lead time difference is about 7–10 working days for non-stock AWG sizes.
How do you terminate the drain wire in a connector — one end or both ends?
We recommend grounding the drain wire at the control cabinet end only. This avoids ground loops that a continuous shield connection can create between two points with slightly different earth potentials. Inside noisy motor control centers, some techs terminate both ends through a 100nF capacitor to drain high-frequency noise while blocking 50/60Hz circulating current. We can supply termination kits pre-fitted with this capacitor network on request.
What is the MOQ for a custom jacket color or private label printing on the jacket?
Standard jacket color (black) has an MOQ of 305 meters (1,000 ft). Custom colors, company name hot-foil printing, or sequential measurement markings start at 1,500 meters per color code. For a single pantone-matched jacket with your part number, we typically absorb the die cost on orders above 6,000 metres. Samples with your custom print are signed off via digital photographs before full production.
