Anyone in the construction industry knows that construction sites are chaotic, filled with heavy equipment, and ordinary control cables are like paper, unable to withstand the strain. A forklift run over them, a few bites from rats, or acid/alkali corrosion underground results in: work stoppages, repairs, and financial losses.
We are a cable manufacturer from China, specializing in solving these “torturous” working conditions.
Why choose us?
- Truly “Durable”: Our armor layers (whether steel strips or wires) are tightly interlocked, allowing for direct underground burial or surface installation. Compression resistance, tensile strength, and rodent protection are basic requirements; our goal is to ensure your cables last for at least ten years.
- Signal “Rock Stable”: Control cables are most vulnerable to interference. Our shielding and insulation layers use high-quality materials, ensuring stable signals even in environments with many inverters and poor electromagnetic interference, allowing your PLCs and automation equipment to operate reliably.
- Customization Available, No Waiting: Many large manufacturers refuse to change specifications for small orders, while smaller factories cannot produce special materials. We’re different. Flame retardant, oil resistant, UV resistant, special core counts and colors—whatever your requirements, just communicate directly with our technical team, and we’ll do it without wasting your time.
- Factory direct, no middlemen: You get first-hand prices, saving you profit.
- Fast delivery: We understand that project deadlines wait for no one. We have common specifications in stock, and our production cycle for customized models is faster than our competitors.
Whether you’re inquiring about prices for comparison or requesting samples for testing, we welcome it all. Tell us your application environment (e.g., is it underground? Is there oil pollution?), and we’ll provide you with the most suitable solution.
What is Armored Control Cable?
Armored control cables have an additional metal protective layer (Armor Layer) between the insulation layer and the outer sheath of ordinary control cables.
Structure:
1. Conductor: Multi-strand fine copper wire twisted together.
2. Insulation: PVC or XLPE.
3. Bedding: Wrapping the insulated core.
4. Armor: Steel tape or steel wire.
5. Sheath: PVC, PE, or LSZH (Low Smoke Halogen-Free).

How to choose the right model?
When purchasing armored control cables, consider five dimensions:
Confirm voltage rating: Confirm the system voltage, commonly 300V, 600V, and 1000V.
Analyze environmental risks:
Rodent infestation? Choose steel tape or steel wire armor.
Strong electromagnetic interference? Ensure good conductivity continuity in the armor layer, or add an additional shielding layer (such as copper wire braid).
Assess mechanical stress:
Fixed installation: Steel tape armor (STA) is sufficient.
Vertical installation or installation requiring tensile strength: Choose steel wire armor (SWA).
Check certification standards: Ensure the cable complies with international or local standards, such as CSA C22.2, IEC 60502, or UL 1277.
Consider fire safety: In densely populated public areas, choose LSZH (Low Smoke Halogen-Free) sheath material.
