Stop Signal Loss and Noise in Your Factory
Do you have machines stopping for no reason? Is your sensor data jumping up and down on the screen? Do your cables crack after a few months of moving? If you are using cheap, unshielded wires, you are losing money. Electrical noise from motors and welders kills your signal. Cheap plastic jackets crack when they touch oil or move too much. You need a cable that fights back. You need a cable that blocks noise, resists oil, and bends a million times without breaking. This is not just a wire. It is a shield for your data. It works hard so your machines can work smart.
What Makes This Cable Different?
This is not a standard off-the-shelf wire. We built this for the real world. It is a 20AWG twisted pair cable with multiple cores (10, 14, or 18). It has two layers of shielding. The inside layer is aluminum foil. The outside layer is a tight copper braid. This double shield stops electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI).The jacket is special. We use a soft, oil-resistant PUR (Polyurethane) material. It feels like rubber, not hard plastic. It resists abrasion. It resists cutting. It handles oil, grease, and coolant fluids. If you drag it across a metal floor, it does not get cut. If you twist it, it goes back to shape. It is rated for heavy industrial use. It passes tests for cold resistance and oil immersion.
Technical Specs You Can Trust
We do not hide the details. Here is exactly what is inside the cable. You can use this to compare with other suppliers.
Conductor Details
The wire inside is the most important part. We use high-purity Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC). Why? Because copper conducts electricity best when it is pure.
- Material: Bare copper or tinned copper (for extra anti-corrosion).
- Gauge: 20 AWG (approx 0.5 sq mm). This is the sweet spot. It is thick enough for power and signal over long runs, but thin enough to stay flexible.
- Stranding: Class 5 or Class 6 fine strands. We do not use one solid wire. Solid wires break when you bend them. Our wires have many tiny strands twisted together. This makes the cable very soft and flexible.
- Resistance: Low DC resistance. This means less voltage drop. Your equipment gets the power it needs.
Insulation and Twisting
- Insulation: Each pair has a color code. We use PE (Polyethylene) or PVC. It has a high dielectric strength. This stops electricity from leaking out.
- Twisting: The pairs are twisted. The twist rate is precise. Twisting cancels out noise. If two wires run parallel, they pick up noise. If you twist them, the noise hits both wires equally and cancels out.
- Pair Layout: We use a stranded lay-up. The cores are twisted around a central strength member (like an aramid yarn or filler). This keeps the cable round and strong.
Shielding Performance
- Inner Shield: Aluminum Polyester Tape (AL-PET). It covers 100% of the cores. It blocks high-frequency noise.
- Outer Shield: Tinned Copper Braid. Coverage is 85% to 95%. It blocks low-frequency magnetic fields. It also grounds the cable.
- Effectiveness: Shielding effectiveness is over 85dB at 1GHz. This is industry-leading. It stops the “ghost signals” from VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and servo motors.
Jacket and Outer Protection
- Material: Soft PUR (Polyurethane) or specialized NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber).
- Properties: Oil-resistant, flame retardant (FR), cold-resistant (-40°C to +90°C), and abrasion-resistant.
- Color: Usually black or orange. We can do custom colors for you.
- Bending Radius: The cable can bend to 8 times its diameter. For a 10mm cable, that is an 80mm bend radius. It can handle dynamic movement in drag chains.
Where to Use This Cable
You can use this cable in many places. It is a “multi-function” cable. Here are the top uses:
Industrial Automation and Robotics
This is the #1 use case. In a factory, you have robotic arms moving 24/7. The cable goes inside the drag chain. It bends millions of times.
- Application: Servo motor control, encoder feedback, sensor wiring.
- Why it works: The fine stranded conductors resist metal fatigue. The PUR jacket does not crack from constant friction. The shielding stops the heavy noise from the robot motors.
Process Control and Instrumentation
In chemical plants or oil rigs, signals are weak. You need precision.
- Application: 4-20mA loops, thermocouple extension, pressure sensors.
- Why it works: The twisted pairs ensure signal accuracy. The double shield prevents ground loops. The oil-resistant jacket handles hydraulic fluids.
Audio and Data Transmission
This cable is great for pro-audio and networking.
- Application: XLR microphone cables, DMX lighting control, low-voltage data lines.
- Why it works: The capacitance is low. This preserves high-frequency audio signals. The braid shield stops hum and buzz from stage lights or power cables.
Renewable Energy and Outdoor Use
- Application: Solar inverter communication, wind turbine control signals.
- Why it works: The outer jacket is UV resistant. It handles sunlight and rain. The temperature range is wide (-40°C to +90°C). It survives in hot deserts or cold mountains.
Quality Tests We Run
We do not just make it and ship it. We test every batch. If it fails, we scrap it.
- Attenuation Test: We check signal loss at 100m. It must be under the standard limit (like 20dB/100m at high frequency).
- Shielding Test: We use a network analyzer. We inject noise and measure if it gets through. It must be better than 85dB rejection.
- Bending Test: We put the cable in a machine and bend it 10 million times. Then we cut it open. The copper must not be broken.
- Oil Immersion: We soak the cable in IRM 903 oil for 168 hours. The jacket must not swell or get soft.
- Cold Bend: We freeze it at -40°C and bend it. It must not crack.
Why Buy From Us?
We are a factory, not just a trader. We control the raw material. We buy copper cathode directly. We make our own compound for the jacket. This cuts costs and boosts quality.
- MOQ: We are flexible. We can do 100 meters for samples or 10,000 meters for big projects.
- Customization: Need 12 cores? Need a special color? Need a logo printed? We can do it.
- Certificates: We have ISO 9001, CE, RoHS, and UL. We can provide test reports.
- Price: We beat the big brands. You get the same quality for 30% less because we have no middlemen.
