Imported 4-Core 24AWG Double Shielded Twisted Pair Cable – Ultra-Soft, Oil & Cold Resistant (0.2/0.3mm²) for Industrial Automation & RS-485

Description

Tired of cables that break, freeze, or lose signal?

You know the struggle. You install a cable in a factory or a cold storage unit. A few weeks later, the system fails. The signal is weak, or the cable jacket cracks because it got too cold or touched some oil. You have to shut down the line to fix it. That costs money and time.We fix this problem. Our imported 4-core twisted pair cable is not just a wire. It is a heavy-duty tool built for real-world abuse. We use special materials to keep it soft in the cold and strong against oil. The double shielding stops electromagnetic noise from killing your data. This is the cable you use when you want to install it once and forget about it.

What makes this cable special?

This is not standard wire. We built it for specific, tough jobs. Here is the breakdown of the core features that solve your headaches.

Ultra-Soft and Flexible for Tight Spaces

Standard cables feel like stiff rocks, especially in the cold. They are hard to pull through conduits or drag chains. Our cable uses a special flexible alloy and a soft PUR or TPE outer jacket. It bends easily. You can route it around tight corners in robot arms or CNC machines without damaging the wire. It moves freely in drag chains without twisting or kinking.

Double Shielding for Clean Signals

Noise is the enemy of data. Motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and fluorescent lights create electromagnetic interference (EMI). This noise corrupts your signals.

  • Inner Shield: We use aluminum foil (100% coverage) around the twisted pairs. This blocks high-frequency noise.
  • Outer Shield: We add a braided copper mesh (85-95% coverage) over the foil. This drains low-frequency interference to the ground. This double layer (S/FTP) creates a Faraday cage. Your RS-485, CAN bus, or DMX signals stay clear, even next to heavy machinery.
Resists Oil, Chemicals, and Cold

Standard PVC cables get brittle and crack at -10°C. They also swell up when they touch hydraulic oil or cutting fluid. Our cable jacket is made of oil-resistant PUR or specialized TPE.

  • Cold Resistant: It stays flexible down to -30°C or even -40°C. Perfect for outdoor winter use or freezer logistics.
  • Oil Resistant: It does not absorb oil. It wipes clean easily.
  • Abrasion Resistant: The jacket is tough against scraping against metal edges.

Technical Specifications (The Numbers Matter)

We believe in transparency. Here are the exact specs for our standard imported 4-core double-shielded cable.

Conductor and Wire Gauge
  • Cores: 4 Cores (2 Pairs)
  • Gauge Options: 22 AWG, 24 AWG, or 26 AWG
  • Cross Section: 0.2 mm², 0.3 mm², or 0.5 mm²
  • Material: Tinned Copper (Bare copper available on request)
  • Stranding: Fine stranded (Class 5 VDE) for maximum flexibility. This means many tiny wires twisted together, not one solid stiff wire.
Insulation and Shielding
  • Insulation Material: PE (Polyethylene) or PVC
  • Shielding Type: SF/UTP or S/FTP (Double Shielded)
  • Shield Material: Aluminum Foil + Tinned Copper Braid
  • Shield Coverage: > 85% (Better than cheap alternatives)
  • Drain Wire: Yes, includes a tinned copper drain wire for easy grounding.
Jacket and Mechanical
  • Outer Jacket: PUR (Polyurethane) or TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer)
  • Jacket Color: Black, Orange, Gray, or Yellow (Customizable)
  • Outer Diameter: Approx. 6.0mm to 8.6mm (Depends on gauge)
  • Bending Radius:
    • Fixed: 6x Diameter
    • Moving: 10x Diameter
  • Tensile Strength: High pull strength for vertical runs in shafts.
Electrical Performance
  • Impedance: 120 Ω (Ohms) – Matches RS-485 and DMX standards perfectly.
  • Rated Voltage: 300V / 300V (300/500V also available)
  • Test Voltage: 1500V – 2500V AC
  • Operating Temperature: -30°C to +80°C (PUR versions go higher)
  • Attenuation: Low signal loss. For 24AWG at 100kHz, loss is very low, allowing long runs.

Where should you use this cable?

You need this cable where other cables fail. Here are the top scenarios our clients use it for.

Industrial Automation and Robotics

Connect PLCs to sensors and servo motors. The cable moves constantly in robot arms (drag chains). The ultra-flex jacket prevents metal fatigue. The shielding stops the servo motor noise from messing up the control signals.

RS-485 and CAN Bus Networks

In building management systems (BMS) or factory floors, you need reliable data links. This 120-ohm cable is perfect for daisy-chaining devices. It handles the noise from elevators, HVAC systems, and welding equipment.

Outdoor and Cold Storage

Freezer warehouses, outdoor security cameras, and marine environments. The PUR jacket resists moisture, UV rays (with additives), and freezing temperatures. It won’t crack when the temperature drops.

Audio/Video and Lighting

For professional DMX-512 lighting control or balanced audio lines. The twisted pairs reject hum and buzz from stage lights and power dimmers.

Oil and Gas / Heavy Machinery

Hydraulic systems, oil rigs, and mining equipment. The oil-resistant jacket protects the copper from corrosive fluids.

Why buy from us?

We are a factory-direct cable supplier. We do not just resell; we manufacture and import.

  • Quality Control: Every batch is tested for continuity, shielding effectiveness, and jacket adhesion. We check the copper purity. No CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) fake wires here.
  • Customization: Need a different color? A specific length? A different AWG size? We can make it. We can add steel wire armor (SWA) if you need rodent protection.
  • Price: Because we are the source, you get the best price. No middleman markup.
  • Certifications: Our cables meet RoHS, CE, UL, and VDE standards. We provide the paperwork you need for your project inspection.

Installation Tips (Read this to save time)

Even the best cable fails if installed wrong. Follow these simple rules:

  1. Ground the Shield: You MUST ground the shield. Connect the drain wire to a proper earth ground at ONE end (or both ends for high frequency, but usually one end is safer to avoid ground loops). If you don’t ground it, the shield acts like an antenna and makes noise worse.
  2. Don’t Kink: Pull the cable smoothly. Don’t drag it over sharp metal edges. Use cable ties with rounded edges.
  3. Respect Bend Radius: Don’t bend the cable tighter than 6 times its diameter. If you bend it too sharp, you change the impedance and break the conductor.
  4. Keep Away from Power Lines: Even with shielding, keep data cables at least 30cm away from high-voltage power lines if possible.

Ready to stop the downtime?

You have two choices. You can keep buying cheap cables that break every six months and pay for the labor to replace them. Or you can invest in a cable that lasts for years. Our imported 4-core double-shielded cable is the smart investment. It solves the noise problem. It solves the cold problem.
