The heart of the cable is the conductor. We use bare copper that meets the IEC 60228 Class 5 standard. This means it is made of many thin wires twisted together (stranded), not one solid rod.Why does this matter? Solid wires break if you bend them often. Our fine-wire stranded copper bends thousands of times without snapping. It has very low resistance. For a 0.5mm² cross-section, the resistance is about 39 Ohms per kilometer at 20°C. This ensures your signals travel far without losing power.
Insulation and Sheath
We wrap each copper core in PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride). This is the standard for a reason. PVC is tough against abrasion. It resists oils, acids, and alkalis.
