4-Core 0.75mm² Copper Cable – Solid Signal and Control Wiring for Demanding Sites
A single loose terminal or a degraded signal cable inside a main control cabinet can shut down an entire packaging line. The cost per minute of unplanned downtime often exceeds the price of the cable by a factor of a thousand. The 4-core 0.75mm² copper cable is built to remove that variable. It delivers consistent low-resistance conductivity and jacket integrity year after year, helping you contain maintenance budgets and keep automation assets online.
Oxygen-Free Copper Conductors – Stable Current and Clean Signals
[Feature]: Bare copper strands drawn to IEC 60228 Class 5 flexibility, with oxygen content strictly controlled below 0.003%.
[Advantage]: Conductor resistance held at 26.0 Ω/km or lower at 20°C. Surface contact between strands stays unoxidized.
[Benefit]: Instrument loops and PLC I/O lines see negligible voltage drop across standard tray runs. False sensor readings drop. Control pulses arrive intact. That ends the finger-pointing between electrical contractors and system integrators at commissioning.
Industrial-Grade PVC Insulation and Jacket – Survival in Tough Trays
[Feature]: Color-coded core insulation plus an outer PVC jacket that passes IEC 60332-1 flame retardancy.
[Advantage]: Withstands continuous conductor temperatures up to 70°C, resists mineral oil splashes, and holds dielectric strength after years of vibration.
[Benefit]: Cable replacement intervals lengthen in hydraulic press rooms, machine tool channels, and conveyor trunking. Maintenance teams stop treating cables as consumables.
Sequential Meter Marking – Zero Install Waste
[Feature]: Hot-foil meter marking every meter along the outer sheath, showing length and factory code.
[Advantage]: Installers pull exact runs from the drum without a tape measure. Remainders are precisely logged.
[Benefit]: On a 5,000-meter control wiring job, this typically saves 4–6% on over-pull waste. Inventory audits become a two-second visual check.
Factory-Side Process Checks – No Rework at Receiving
[Feature]: In-line spark testing at 2.5 kV AC and continuous diameter gauging on every production shift.
[Advantage]: Dielectric faults and eccentricity are detected and cut out before spooling. Shipments arrive defect-free.
[Benefit]: Your incoming QC resources stay focused on high-risk components. Cable just moves straight to the rack – zero back-and-forth with suppliers.

Industry Applications & Scenario Validation
Industrial Control Cabinets
Linking terminal blocks, pushbuttons, and PLC cards. The Class 5 flex strands prevent fatigue cracking at screw terminals when the cabinet door is opened hundreds of times during commissioning.HVAC and Building Automation
Wiring damper actuators, zone sensors, and DDC controllers in ceiling voids. The flame-retardant jacket and clear white/grey numbering make life inspection simple for maintenance techs.Packaging and Conveyor Machinery
Running signal and power to photo-eyes, solenoid valves, and alarm beacons. Oil-resistant PVC resists degradation from the constant mist of chain lubricants.Renewable Energy Controls
DC-side monitoring lines inside inverter cabinets and combiner boxes for solar PV parks. Consistent ohmic values per metre keep current-measurement accuracy within design limits.Marine and Offshore Panels (surface‑mount)
Used inside control desks on vessels or rigs. Custom sheathing compounds with IEC 60092-359 flame characteristics are available on request; standard PVC is a stock solution for dry, internal mounting.

FAQ
Can this 4-core 0.75mm² cable carry a 10-amp load at an ambient temperature of 50°C?
At 50°C, the standard PVC rating table applies a correction factor of 0.71 to the base ampacity. A cable in free air should still handle approximately 8.5 A. In conduit or bundled with three power circuits, the allowable current drops lower. Use our engineering bulletin for your exact scenario, or order a thicker cross-section if the derated ampacity supplies a motor starter with inrush.
Is the cable available with numbered cores instead of the European colour code?
Yes. Four black cores with printed digits 1 through 4 is the most common export configuration. We can also supply combinations of brown/black/grey/blue or integrate a green-yellow earth core on request. A small MOQ surcharge typically applies for non-standard colour builds. Lead time shifts by about 5–7 working days.
What is the shelf life and recommended storage before installation?
Indoors, away from direct sunlight and standing water, PVC-jacketed cable remains within specification for at least five years from its production date. The drum should be kept upright with end caps intact. If reels are stored outdoors for extended periods, an UV-shield wrap or a PE-sheathed variant is advisable. We provide an accelerated ageing test certificate on request for any batch.
